Citrosuco is a European giant in the field of fruit juice and all the ingredients needed to produce fruit juice. Because its production generates a lot of waste water, Citrosuco already had its own water treatment plant. Nevertheless, Pantarein Water came on board in 2014 for an expansion.
Citrosuco expanded the existing treatment plant with an air lift membrane filtration, in order to double the capacity of the treatment plant without any construction work and to continuously meet the standards. In addition, the treatment plant is now equipped with a thickening drum to reduce sludge disposal costs and a new sieve removes 20% of the pollution load at the source. Since the construction of the project, Pantarein Water has supported Citrosuco in the operation of the treatment plant.
