The start-up company BeerSelect built a new group brewery in Evergem. All kinds of beers, in various batch volumes and all kinds of packaging, are produced at this site. For the water treatment, Pantarein Water developed a master plan that can be conducted step by step.
The first step is treating the wastewater in an aerobic granular batch reactor until it is suitable for discharge into surface water. Subsequent to this, steps involve anaerobic filtration, membrane filtration and water reuse.
Pantarein is responsible for the design, construction and financing for a period of ten years, and is – of course – jointly responsible for proper wastewater treatment!
